El Cuyo
El Cuyo is located in the Yucatan Peninsula. This charming coastal town is located within the Ría Lagartos Biosphere Reserve, an important natural protected area.
El Cuyo is known for its beautiful coastline and its beaches of calm waters and white sand, which makes it an attractive place for dolphin and other marine species watching. It is also home to turtles that come to lay their eggs. It is not a party place, it is lived without haste to the rhythm of sunrises and sunsets that you will not forget.
Its location in the Reserve offers unique opportunities to observe an abundant and permanent population of flamingos, which cohabit in the area with 250 other species of seabirds, crocodiles and other wildlife in their natural habitat.
In addition to its natural wealth, El Cuyo is also a popular place for water sports, such as kitesurfing and paddle boarding, thanks to its ideal conditions for these sports.
