At Mero Mero Hotel we are driven to serve others. We exist to give back to both our guests and the community of El Cuyo. We want to be a place where our visitors leave as our friends and where friends leave as family. For us, being in El Cuyo is an honor and that is why we care about learning, adding, respecting the environment and contributing to this place.

SUSTAINABILITY:

The Earth does not belong to man, man is the host of the Earth. We believe in contributing and not affecting. That is why at Mero Mero we take care of every detail to have the least possible impact on El Cuyo and the planet. We have:

  • Wetland with wastewater treatment system.
  • Electricity transformer to generate less and help El Cuyo.
  • Solar panels to capture solar energy and reduce electricity consumption.
  • Biodegradable cleaning products and amenities.
  • We are part of “El Cuyo es Tuyo” and therefore we separate solid waste and generate as little garbage as possible.
  • We collaborate with community projects to promote eco-tourism and care for El Cuyo, the Ría Lagartos Reserve and our planet.
